Web Designer / Creative Manager

The Position:

The Web Designer / Creative Manager is a key member of the JAZD Markets Marketing team working to enhance, develop and maintain the JAZD brand. Your web development skills along with your strong sense of clean design will contribute to creating compelling web pages and ads across the corporate website and vertical marketplace blogs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Managing web projects from conception to implementation
  • Quickly designing and updating web pages
  • Integrating and building WordPress blogs
  • Building landing pages, web banners and email templates
  • Creating and maintaining the brand and style guidelines
  • Utilizing interactive skills, social networks and Web 2.0 technologies
  • Integrating Google Analytics and other 3rd party apps
  • Effectively communicating and synthesizing feedback from multiple sources
  • Fulfilling several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

The Candidate:

The selected individual will have a proven track record of building effective web properties. You are an individual with a well-rounded skill set including strong HTML/CSS/JS abilities, Photoshop design skills, technical savvy, great attention to detail, and proven expertise in web design.

  • Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills with solid knowledge of usability
  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining websites and blogs (portfolio required)
  • Excellent graphic design skills
  • Attention to detail, keen eye for clean UI implementation
  • Knowledge of design and code best practices
  • BS/BA or equivalent

Required Technical Skills:

  • Standards-compliant HTML/CSS - 3 years
  • Dreamweaver – 3 years
  • Photoshop/Illustrator – 3 years
  • JavaScript/AJAX – 1 years
  • Google Analytics – 1 years
  • WordPress – 1 years
