Marking Services Manager

JAZD Markets is the leading B2B Directory Lead Generation Network in the market. JAZD manages a network of 14 vertical directories with 175,000 listed companies and over 2.1 Million registered buyers. JAZD delivers annual marketing programs built on 1st page placement, lead generation, search marketing and brand advertising. Annual marketing programs range from $2K to $50K per client. JAZD manages over 1,000 advertiser client relationships and the number of clients is growing daily.
THE POSITION:
The Marketing Services Manager is a key member of the JAZD Markets (JAZD) Team and will work directly with the JAZD Marketing & Management Team members to shape the overall client value of the company’s comprehensive marketing services. The Marketing Services Manager reports directly to the Director of Marketing Services.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advertiser Prospect eMail Marketing Campaigns – Promotional Marketing
- Manage the day to day advertiser promotional marketing for assigned directory markets in support of sales to drive sales lead generation
- Create and manage weekly targeted email campaigns focused on driving new advertiser prospects to engage with the directory for the sales team
- Newsletter Publishing – Client Delivery
- Publish a weekly research whitepaper newsletter in each assigned directory to opt in newsletter subscribers to drive opt in lead generation for advertiser clients
- Manage the email lists for opt in, suppression, segmentation and targeting across all assigned directories
- Manage the Newsletter inclusion reporting for completed marketing service deliverables for each assigned directory and each client included every week
- Targeted eMail Campaigns – Client Delivery
- Work with Account Team and Client to build a dedicated email campaign using the clients content and CSS
- Target the eMail campaign to a maximum of 50,000 opt in subscribers based on Client filter criteria
- Advertising Media Guide and Advertiser Center Content Management
- Update JAZD marketing services media guides as changes arise
- Create and update new marketing services collateral in support of sales
THE CANDIDATE:
The selected individual(s) will have a progressive track record of on-line marketing, email campaign management, client delivery and advertising success with specific experience in B2B vertical markets within a start up environment. This person must have high enthusiasm, passion for online marketing, strong communications skills, creativity and interest in building a world-class business within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and extreme commitment to accountability for tangible results.
Specific required experience:
- 2+ years of progressive on-line marketing experience in a leading B2B publication, technology firm, digital agency, marketing services or social networking firm
- Experience with email campaign management software preferably Silverpop
- Strong Dreamweaver experience with proven ability to both create and manipulate templates
- Proven experience with digital publishing of content from concept to completion
- Proven ability to create compelling display advertising campaigns
- List management experience specifically managing large opt-in lists
- Proven experience at hitting daily and weekly deadlines
- Excellent organizational and communications skills
- Experience in direct interaction with inside sales teams
A minimum of a 2 YR Degree with a concentration in Marketing, Communications, Design, Graphics Art or Business from an accredited school is required.
