Manager of Employee Growth & Human Resources

THE POSITION:

The Manager is a key member of the JAZD Markets (JAZD) Management Team. Employee growth & success is the ultimate objective for every employee here at JAZD. The JAZD Business Model is built on a tenet of employees and clients for life and as such the Manager will build and manage an essential component of the overall business direction. The Manager will work with the entire JAZD family to shape the overall portfolio of JAZD employee acquisition, growth and retention programs.

The Manager of Employee Growth & Human Resources reports directly to the CEO.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Employee On-Boarding
    • Communicate the JAZD Values & Mission to all candidate prospects and new hires
    • Actively screen and interview all candidates within a high growth new hire process
    • Assure that all candidates that are hired at JAZD and top flight people with solid values, proven skills and a thirst for personal growth
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive on-boarding program that assure effective assimilation of all new hires at JAZD
    • Coordinate the new hire training program in support of the Sales Training Manager
  • Employee Growth
    • Develop and manage a portfolio of programs focused on employee performance, skills development and overall success assurance
    • Establish a program of organizational training that provides for career and personal growth opportunities for all employees
    • Assure that each function at JAZD has 360 performance assessment programs actively implemented
    • Implement high retention programs
  • Human Resource Administration
    • Manage all day to day aspects of HR Administration
    • Manage all JAZD HR benefits programs
    • Manage all JAZD HR policies and procedures
    • Manage new hire process
    • Manage all records and compliance aspects of HR corporate governance

THE CANDIDATE:
The selected individual will have a proven track record of managing employee growth and HR Administration within a start up environment. This proven manager must have significant hands on experience with building employee success into a core asset for an organization. This results driven leader must be a self starter and be comfortable in both the development of programs and well as the delivery of programs. This person must have exceptional values, high enthusiasm, strong communications skills, creativity and interest in building a lasting career within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and extreme commitment to accountability for tangible results.

Specific required experience:

  • 3+ years of direct HR Administration management
  • Direct experience in Benefits Administration
  • Direct experience in HR compliance management
  • Experience in high growth on-boarding and high employee retention environments
  • Proven experience in directly managing employee performance management programs
  • Proven experience in developing employee training programs

A College Degree with a concentration in HR Management, Organizational Design, Business Management or Communications from an accredited school is required.

COMPENSATION:
A competitive compensation package will consist of a base salary, annual bonus, stock options, 401K and complete benefits including flex spending accounts and free parking. JAZD is committed to training and developing future leaders.
