Client Success Manager

The Position:

The Client Success Manager is a key member of the JAZD Markets (JAZD) Team. Client success is the ultimate objective of every client experience at JAZD. The JAZD Business Model is built on a tenet of clients for life and as such the Manager will build and manage an essential component of the overall business. The Manager will work with the Sales Team members to shape the overall client success direction. The Manager of Client Success reports to the SVP of Sales & Service.

The Company:

JAZD’s corporate mission is to dominate online marketing as a service by delivering business-to-business product directories as a marketing services platform for B2B Trade Publications. The company is based in Andover, MA. JAZD is lead by Founder and CEO, Jamie Bedard (Celebrated Turnaround CEO of Aberdeen Group) with significant financial investments by Commonwealth Capital Ventures and Pilot House Ventures. The company combines directory placement, display advertising, lead generation, content syndication, social media and vertical search into an innovative Marketing as a Service (MaaS) platform where advertisers can measure and optimize the value from their online marketing spend.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Client (Advertiser) Success – supplier enrollment, supplier content advertiser contract delivery, advertiser concierge support, advertiser satisfaction, revenue recognition
    • Manage a portfolio of up to 100 active clients
    • Assure that all client contracts are met or exceeded for delivered results
    • Assure that all client listings and affiliated ads are live, valid and available within 24 hours of posting and follow up with client to assure confirmation and approval
    • Assure monthly client calls with all in-delivery clients by establishing programmatic “touching with value“ outreach programs
    • Implement corrective action programs for all distressed clients assuring a return to 100% satisfaction
    • Participate in all new client kick off calls to communicate the Client Success program and the value that will be delivered in assuring their success
    • Achieve 95%+ client satisfaction results across all clients


The Candidate:

The selected individual will have a proven track record of managing on-line clients. This proven manager must have significant hands on experience with building client success into an asset for an organization. This results driven leader must have a working understanding of on-line advertising, ad placement functionality, campaign management requirements and web technology. This person must have high enthusiasm, strong communications skills, creativity and interest in building a lasting career within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and extreme commitment to accountability for tangible results.

Specific required experience:

  • 1+ years of direct experience in delivering quality service to online clients
  • Proven experience in achieving 95%+ client satisfaction through high touch programs
  • Proven experience in high volume telephone and email based client outreach programs
  • Direct experience with opt in lead generation, content syndication, ad impression based service offerings and the expected associated results
  • Strong affinity for understanding B2B marketing roles and their business requirements
  • Strong ability to look at a product marketing website and understand the company’s business
  • Strong computer fluency with office suite tools
  • Significant experience with website marketing, social networking technology, marketing automation, email campaign management, ad serving and content management software

An Associate’s Degree or higher with a concentration in Business Management, Marketing, Communications or Sales Management from an accredited school is strongly suggested.
