The Position:

The Director is a key member of the JAZD Markets (JAZD) Management Team. Employee growth & success is the ultimate objective for every employee here at JAZD. The JAZD Business Model is built on a tenet of employees and clients for life and as such the Director will build and manage an essential component of the overall business direction. The Director will work with the entire JAZD family to shape the overall portfolio of JAZD employee growth programs.

JAZD’s B2B marketplace platform delivers the most innovative product marketing platform complete with 10,000’s of companies listed and 100,000’s of products featured per directory across 9 current and growing quickly to 15 targeted B2B vertical markets. The JAZD directory platform combines leading search functionality with product specific JAZD content, user generated research, ratings and reviews, side by side comparisons and social networking into a unique marketplace built for the buyer.


JAZD services combine preferred category placement, opt in lead generation, ad impressions, creative ad development, data concierge services and tangible results into the most complete Marketing as a Service offering in the marketplace. Advertisers can measure and optimize the value from their on-line marketing spend and product buyers can get real insights, comparisons and peer referrals into the products and vendors that they are considering.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Employee Recruitment and On-Boarding
    • Manage a portfolio of new candidate sources to drive top flight candidates into the JAZD hiring pipeline
    • Communicate the JAZD Values & Mission to all candidate prospects
    • Assure that all candidates that are hired at JAZD and top flight people with solid values, proven skills and a thirst for personal growth
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive on-boarding program that assure effective assimilation of all new hires at JAZD
  • Employee Growth
    • Develop and manage a portfolio of programs focused on employee performance, skills development and overall success assurance
    • Establish a program of organizational training that provides for career and personal growth opportunities for all employees
    • Assure that each function at JAZD has 360 performance assessment programs actively implemented
    • Assure that each function at JAZD has well defined function specific training programs in place
  • Human Resource Management
    • Select and manage all JAZD HR benefits programs
    • Manage all JAZD HR policies and procedures
    • Assure all JAZD employee Growth & Success related expenses and managed consistent with the annual budget


The Candidate:

The selected individual will have a proven track record of managing on-line clients. This proven manager must have significant hands on experience with building employee success into a core asset for an organization. This results driven leader must be a self starter and be comfortable in both the development of programs and well as the delivery of programs. This person must have exceptional values, high enthusiasm, strong communications skills, creativity and interest in building a lasting career within a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment and extreme commitment to accountability for tangible results.

Specific required experience:

  • 5+ years of direct experience in delivering elite employee growth leadership
  • Proven experience in achieving 100%+ employee success through high touch programs
  • Strong experience in direct recruiting of new candidate prospects
  • Proven experience in directly managing employee performance management programs
  • Proven experience in developing employee training programs

A College Degree with a concentration in HR Management, Organizational Design, Business Management or Communications from an accredited school is required.


Compensation:

A competitive compensation package will consist of an aggressive base salary, annual bonus, stock options, 401K and complete benefits including flex spending accounts and free parking. JAZD is committed to training and developing future leaders.
